The Dawson Society is proud to present ‘Wounded by Beauty’,  illustrated talks offering a new way of listening to music. This event the third of it’s kind, will feature a performance of Franz Schubert’s piano trio no. 2, op. 110 by Perth acclaimed Chimera Ensemble, with accompanying commentary and lecture by Emeritus Professor John Kinder FAHA, OSI, (UWA).

The focus is to discover the very foundation of music, viewed as one of the most sincere and moving expressions of human experience, of the universal human desire for beauty, for happiness, for a mysterious Other who will fulfil the promises of the heart.
