Homophonic! is bringing the disco ball to the concert hall, and celebrating the artistry and lives of LGBTIQ+ composers.
In its’ 15th year, Homophonic! is continuing it’s cult status in queer chamber music with new commissions by Aaron Wyatt and Quin Thompson, The winning work of the Midsumma presents: The Homophonic! Pride Prize by Ashleigh Hazel performed by pianist Jacob Abela, and works by Sally Whitwell and Kevin March. Performed alongside classics from the cannon and just a smattering of French Baroque…
Relaxed performance Saturday 1 pm, 1 hour concert. Evening shows are 2.5 hour concerts with an intermission. No flashing lights or rapidly changing lighting states. Theatre Works is fully accessible.
