Ironbark Ensemble present a delightful concert showcasing a rich kaleidoscope of music. The program includes some adaptations of music by Astor Piazzolla and Hoagy Carmichael, an original reed quintet composition by American composer Jonathan Russell, and a world premiere of Richard Percival’s latest offering for the reed quintet medium – The Art Deco Suite.

The concert will culminate with Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. In a special tribute to the 100th anniversary of Gershwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue, the quintet will present a unique adaptation that brings fresh energy to this beloved classic.
