The Orchestra Project returns to the magnificent Verbrugghen Hall at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music for its annual Easter Sunday symphony concert; performing  Ernest Chausson’s Poème (Natsuko Yoshimito – Violin), Maurice Ravel’s La Valse and Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring. 

110 musicians from across Australia coming together to perform in this concert that celebrates the wider Australian classical music community, conducted by Fabian Russell.

The Orchestra Project Inc. was established by conductor Fabian Russell in 2002 as a training ensemble for the development of Australia’s best young orchestral musicians. Alongside Russell himself, former MSO Chief Conductors Markus Stenz and Oleg Caetani conducted major concerts throughout 2002- 2006 and regular performers included former ANAM Artistic Directors John Harding and Brett Dean.
