Thoroughbass | Set in Stone
21 July 2024 @ 3:15 pm - 4:30 pm AEST
$20![st john's chapel](https://cdn-classikon.b-cdn.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/st-johns-chapel.jpg)
Three stunning concerts in three historic settings.
Internationally acclaimed pianist Michael Tsalka joins Thoroughbass director Diana Weston for a mix of old and new. Concertos for harpsichord by the great JS Bach and by Australia’s favourite composer Elena Kats-Chernin (Ancient Letters), a new work for the unusual combination of harpsichord and early piano forte by the ever-versatile Ann Carr-Boyd, and much else. As a keyboard duo Michael and Diana show ‘consummate teamwork’ (Israel review) and exquisite playing (Canberra City News).
These concerts are rare events and not to be missed.
