Lamorna Nightingale is a core member of the new music group – Ensemble Offspring and appears regularly with Sydney’s finest orchestras and chamber groups. In 2015, Lamorna produced and performed as a soloist in the Australian Premier Performance of Sciarrino’s work for 104 flute players, ‘Il cerchio tagliato dei suoni’ at the Australian Flute Festival. In January 2016 she performed with early music ensemble Anima Eterna at the Sydney Festival and then the Lincoln Centre in New York. She also teaches flute and is a senior examiner for the AMEB. She runs a publishing company, Fluteworthy and is now producing and curating the BackStage Music Series.
